Our first ever chamber music workshop! We were fortunate to be hosted by the Honors Academy of Literature, whose facilities were perfect for our three-day adventure.
Fourteen participants from all walks of life formed five small groups and all worked together to perform a great recital at St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral in Reno.
Our clinicians were Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Associate Concertmaster Justin Bruns, Reno Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra Principal Violist Dustin Budish, Director of Orchestras from Damonte Ranch High School and Bassist Joshua Mittendorf, and Artistic and Executive Director Dr. Eileen Brownell.
