The Berkelium String Quartet will perform two concerts in Nevada in May 2026. The concerts will be a presentation of ‘The Bow and the Brush’; each piece on the program will be accompanied by projected art. The Fallon concert will be May 16 at 7:00 pm. The Carson City concert will be at the Grand Ballroom at the Brewery Arts Center at 2:00 pm on May 17.

Daniel Darmesin Flanagan (violin) and Dustin Budish (viola) join Reno’s master luthier Tim Dodd for this event, in which Tim Dodd will illustrate the construction and acoustic properties of a viola compared with a violin, while Dan and Dustin present a lively competition showcasing the qualities of the two instruments.
